On this project, we were contracted to connect electricity to a rural property in Cooroy via underground power.

The dwelling was approximately 400 metres from the road.   The first step was to dig the trench for the electrical cables.

Whilst digging the trench, we encountered parts of the block containing bedrock so had to call in the big guns – the 14t excavator with a powerful hydraulic jackhammer.  This made light work of the process.

This project highlighted the importance of having access to the right equipment so the job could be completed quickly and efficiently.

Once the trench was complete, we could lay the electricity cables and connect the property to the power supply.
