Why can’t I just run an extension lead to my shed?
Apart from the un-tidiness and dangers of using leads on the ground there is another problem.
A lot of the time the distance it’s run causes what is known as “voltage drop”. Because of the small conductor size in leads what starts out as 230v can turn into about 180v at the end which will cause things like power tools, compressors and welders to have a much shorter life span than expected.
My builder or shed company told me to organise my own power supply installation?

We will provide you with power and temporary builder’s power for the duration of the construction.
Why use underground power, not overhead electricity?
Often the cost of overhead power vs underground power is very similar, so we recommend going underground for a couple of reasons. Not only is underground much more aesthetically pleasing it also avoids power outages in storms from falling trees and broken poles, which can be quite a costly fix. Whether it’s 10m or 2000m we are the business that can help.
